Biclomax - Plus 15

Chemical Composition: Each 5ml reconstituted suspension contains:-

Amoxicillin Trihydrate equ. to Anhydrous Amoxicillin 125mg (15g filling)

MODE OF ADMINISTRATION: For Oral Use Only.

Product Description:
Amoxicillin is a broad-spectrum, semisynthetic aminopenicillin antibiotic with bactericidal activity against many gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms.

Pharmacological Actions:  Amoxicillin binds to and inactivates penicillin-binding protein (PBP) located on the inner membrane of the bacterial cell wall. Inactivation of PBPs interferes with the cross-linkage of peptidoglycan chains necessary for bacterial cell wall strength and rigidity. This interrupts bacterial cell wall synthesis and results in the weakening of the bacterial cell wall and causes cell lysis.

USES: Amoxicillin should be used only to treat infections that are strongly suspected to be caused by bacteria.
