Chemical Composition: Each 5ml reconstituted suspension contains:-

Amoxicillin Trihydrate USP equivalent to Amoxicillin 125mg + Clavulanate Potassium USP equivalent to Clavulanic Acid 31.25mg 
 
MODE OF ADMINISTRATION: For Oral Use Only.

Product Description: Amoxicillin/Clavulanic Acid is a combination of broad-spectrum, semi-synthetic Penicillin-type antibiotics with bactericidal activity.

Pharmacological Actions: 
Amoxicillin is a semisynthetic antibiotic, kills the bacterial infection by attacking their cell wall. Amoxicillin prevents the synthesis of a substance in the cell wall called peptidoglycan, which provide the cell wall with the strength required for survival of bacteria in human body. Clavulanic Acid works by blocking the action of the enzymes which are produced by the bacterial cells around the infected area to inactivate the antibiotics which help to cure the infection. 

USES: It is used in the treatment of bacterial infections and the symptoms it may cause.

Common side effects are: 

1. Nausea
2. Allergic reactions
3. Vomiting 
4. Skin rashes 
5. Diarrhea

STORAGE: Store below 30˚C. Keep away from children. Use reconstituted suspension within 7 days and placed in regrigerator.
 

Shake the bottle to loosen the powder. Slowly add boiled and cooled water up to the mark on the bottle and shake well. Add water if necessary to adjust the volume up to the mark.
