Product Description: Azromycin 250 is in a class of medications called macrolide antibiotics. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria.
Pharmacological Actions:
Azromycin 250 binds to the 23S rRNA of the bacterial 50S ribosomal subunit. It stops bacterial protein synthesis by inhibiting the transpeptidation/translocation step of protein synthesis and by inhibiting the assembly of the 50S ribosomal subunit Label, 5. This results in the control of various bacterial infections.
USES:
Azromycin can be used to treat many different infections caused by bacteria. These include infections of the blood, brain, lungs, bones, joints, urinary tract, stomach, and intestines. It can also be used to treat sexually transmitted diseases. It stops the growth of the bacteria causing the infection and clears the infection.
Side Effects:
Common side effects are-
1. Nausea
2. Vomiting
3. Diarrhea
4. Abdominal pain
HOW TO USE?
Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. It may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
