Product Description: Cefuroxime Axetil belongs to the second generation oral cephalosporin antibiotics. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria. It will not work for viral infections (such as common cold, flu).

Pharmacological Actions: 
Cefuroxime Axetil  is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering (cell wall) which is essential for the survival of the bacteria. By doing so, this medicine stops the infection-causing bacteria from growing further and prevents the infection from spreading without making them resistant to further treatment.

USES: 
This medication is used to treat bacterial infections of the ear, nose, throat, lungs, skin, soft tissues, bones, joints, and urinary tract. It is also given to prevent infection in animal and human bite wounds and may also be given before surgical procedures as a preventive therapy.

Side Effects: 
Common side effects are-
1. Nausea
2. vomiting 
3. Abdominal pain 
4.  Diarrhea 
5. Allergy 
 
HOW TO USE?
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Dissolve it in a glass of water before taking it.
Baxim 125 Tablet DT is to be taken with food.
Note: Avoid Baxim 125  Tablet DT with dietary sodium.
