Chemical Composition: Each 5ml reconstituted suspension contains:- 

Cefixime 50mg + Clavulanic Acid 31.25mg
 
MODE OF ADMINISTRATION: For Oral Use Only.

Product Description: It helps to treat infections that are caused by bacteria. Cefixime stops the growth of infection-causing bacteria. Clavulanic Acid enhances the activity of Cefixime against the bacteria as well as reduces resistance of the bacteria to the antibiotic.

Pharmacological Actions: Cefixime binds to one or more of the penicillin-binding proteins (PBPs) which inhibits the final transpeptidation step of peptidoglycan synthesis in bacterial cell wall, thus inhibiting biosynthesis and arresting cell wall assembly resulting in bacterial cell death. Clavulanic Acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor which reduce resistance and enhances the activity of Cefixime against bacteria. 

USES: This medicine is used for the treatment of Bacterial Infection, Bacterial infection of Ear and Nose, Sinusitis, Pharyngitis, Tonsillitis, Bronchitis, Pneumonia and infection after surgery. 

Side Effects:
Common side effects are as-
1. Nausea
2. Vomiting
3. Abdominal pain
4. Diarrhea
5. Allergy
