Product Description: Ciprofloxacin belongs to a class of drugs called quinolone antibiotics. This antibiotic treats only bacterial infections. It will not work for virus infections (such as flu, Common cold). It kills and stops further growth of the bacteria causing the infection.

Pharmacological Actions: 
Ciprofloxacin works by stopping the action of a bacterial enzyme called DNA-gyrase. This prevents the bacterial cells from dividing and repairing, thereby killing them.

USES: This drug is used to treat bacterial infections, such as- 
1. Community acquired pneumonia
2. Bronchitis
3. Cystitis
4. Prostatitis
5. Gonococcal infection
6. Joint infection
7. Pneumonia with cystic fibrosis
8. Pyelonephriits
9. Inhalation Anthrax
10. Plague

Side Effects: 
Common side effects are-
1. Headache
2. Dizziness
3.  Nausea 
4. Vomiting
5.  Abdominal pain 
6. Diarrhea
7.  Joint pain 
 
HOW TO USE?
Swallow it as whole with a glass of water. Do not cut, break or chew the medicine. Take with or without food.
