Product Description

Amoxicillin is a broad-spectrum, semisynthetic aminopenicillin antibiotic with bactericidal activity against many gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms.

Pharmacological Action :

Amoxicillin binds to and inactivates penicillin-binding protein (PBP) located on the inner membrane of the bacterial cell wall. Inactivation of PBPs interferes with the cross-linkage of peptidoglycan chains necessary for bacterial cell wall strength and rigidity. This interrupts bacterial cell wall synthesis and results in the weakening of the bacterial cell wall and causes cell lysis.

Uses:

Amoxicillin should be used only to treat infections that are strongly suspected to be caused by bacteria.

Direction Of Use:

Shake the bottle to loosen the powder. Slowly add boiled and cooled water up to the mark on the bottle and shake well. Add water if necessary to adjust the volume up to the mark.
