Product Description: Amoxicillin/Clavulanic acid is a combination penicillin-type antibiotic used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria. This antibiotic treats only bacterial infections. It will not work for viral infections. The medicine works by killing the harmful bacteria that cause infections.

Pharmacological Actions: 
It works by stopping the growth of bacteria. Clavulanic acid is in a class of medications called beta-lactamase inhibitors. It works by preventing bacteria from destroying amoxicillin. Antibiotics will not work for colds, flu, or other viral infections.

USES: It can be used in the treatment of bacterial infections like Bronchitis, Pneumonia, Cystitis (bladder), Sinuses (Sinusitis), Ear (Otitis media), or skin. 
 
Side Effects: 
Common side effects are-
1. Nausea
2. Diarrhea
3. Vomiting 

HOW TO USE?
Your doctor will tell you how much of this medicine you should take. This will depend on your condition and whether you are taking any other medicines. The usual dose is one tablet twice a day (approximately every 12 hours).
