Product Description: Amoxicillin/clavulanic acid is a combination penicillin-type antibiotic used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria. This antibiotic treats only bacterial infections. It will not work for viral infections. The medicine works by killing the harmful bacteria that cause infections.

Pharmacological Actions: 
It works by stopping the growth of bacteria. Clavulanic acid is in a class of medications called beta-lactamase inhibitors. It works by preventing bacteria from destroying amoxicillin. Antibiotics will not work for colds, flu, or other viral infections.

USES: It can be used in the treatment of bacterial infections like, tonsillitis, sinusitis, otitis media, respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, boils, abscesses, cellulitis, wound infection, bone infection, and oral cavity infections. 

Side Effects: 
Common side effects are-
1. Nausea
2. Diarrhea
3. Vomiting 
4. Mucocutaneous candidiasis

HOW TO USE?
Take this medication by mouth with a meal or snack, usually every 8 hours.
