Product Description: Ofloxacin is in a class of antibiotics called fluoroquinolones which works against bacteria that cause infections and stops the growth of the bacteria causing the infection and clears the infection.

Pharmacological Actions: It interferes with the genetic material of bacteria by implanting defects in its DNA. These defects hamper the multiplication of the bacteria and affect its survival as well. Thus, it kills the infection-causing bacteria from growing further and prevents the infection from spreading without making them resistant to further treatment.

USES: It can be used for the treatment of–
1. Urinary Tract Infection 
2. Pyelonephritis
3. Cystitis
4. Community-Acquired Pneumonia
5. Bronchitis
6. Skin and soft tissue infections

Side Effects:
Common side effects are as-
1.  Stomach pain
2. Nausea
3. Vomiting
4. Headache
5. Constipation 
6. Stomach pain or cramps 
7. Loss of appetite
