Product Description: This medicine belongs to a class of medications known as third generation cephalosporin antibiotics. It works by killing the bacteria. 

Pharmacological Actions: It inhibits cell-wall synthesis by binding to one or more penicillin-binding proteins; exerts antimicrobial effect by interfering with synthesis of peptidoglycan bacteria eventually lyse because activity of cell-wall autolytic enzymes continues while cell-wall assembly is arrested. 

USES: It is used for the treatment of lower respiratory tract infections, skin and skin structure infections, bone and joint infections, intra-abdominal and urinary tract infections, sepsis and meningitis due to susceptible organisms.
   
Side Effects:
Common side effects are as-
1. Rashes 
2. Abnormal liver function test 
3. Symptoms of blood cell disorder
